Senior Team Leader II, Press Shop Toolroom

Key Responsibilities

Operational & Technical Leadership

Coordinate daily team activities to ensure adherence to procedures, safety regulations, and production targets. Ensure machining process efficiency and quality within the Toolroom. Monitor machining requirements, priorities, manpower, materials, and equipment utilization. Allocate tasks based on team competencies and operational needs. Lead the Machining/CNC area and support process optimization. Escalate performance or disciplinary issues to senior management when required.

Equipment, Maintenance & Technical Support

Implement existing preventive and predictive maintenance protocols. Assist in planning and conducting equipment inspections to ensure operational reliability. Monitor equipment performance using data-driven insights; identify basic issues and support corrective actions. Coordinate with maintenance teams for repair activities and technical issue resolution. Operate machine tools to produce precision metal parts in small or large batch quantities. Ensure manufactured parts meet precise specifications.

Tooling, CNC & Design Support

Program machines with cutter paths/surface models for CNC operations. Maintain up-to-date die designs reflecting ongoing machine shop modifications. Assist with design and construction of new tools, dies, jigs, fixtures, and gauges.

Inventory & Spare Parts Management

Track spare parts inventory levels and report shortages. Assist in planning spares for operational lines and coordinate related repair activities.

Job Requirements

Education

Bachelor's or Diploma degree in:


Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Electrical Engineering Manufacturing Technology Or a related field

Experience

Minimum

10 years
