Handle private tea sales and institutional sales through established brokers.
Conduct regular sampling and tastings with brokers and buyers, focusing on Assam CTC grades.
Ensure smooth coordination and follow-up of dispatches, delivery schedules, and logistics.
Maintain strict control over inventory in alignment with sales targets and production capacity.
Track and recover payments in a timely and professional manner.
Verify and process sales-related bills: brokerage, warehousing, and transport.
Ensure adherence to compliance for E-Invoicing, E-Way Bills, GST on sales, and statutory documentation.
Lead a small team (3-4 members) and take full ownership of tea sales and broker relations.
Foster long-term business relationships and support strategic sales expansion.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
To comprehend the daily tea market moves, sentiment & act accordingly.
Self-driven, motivated, focused & responsible.
7-8 years of proven experience in Assam CTC tea sales, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong communication and negotiation skills in Hindi, Marwari & Gujrati.
Hands-on knowledge of Tally, ERP systems, and MS Office (Word, Excel, Email).
Basic knowledge of sales accounting and documentation (GST, invoices, brokerage, etc.).
High professional ethics, commercial acumen, and practical decision-making abilities.
