JOB TITLE: Senior Talent Acquisition Advisor
Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a dedicated Recruitment Team within the HR Shared Services Centre in the identification, selection, and recruitment of qualified candidates.
  • Maintain regular communication with the various departments across India offices to evaluate present and future personnel requirements. Work closely with HRBPs and the Recruitment COE.
  • Develop sources of qualified applicants through various channels like advertisements and internet sources. Conduct candidate and market mapping to identify top talent, alongside creating and maintaining future talent pipelines.
  • Look to maximise internal applicants and employee referrals.
  • Focus on D&I – creating advertising campaigns to attract top talent and ensuring a diverse selection of candidates is sourced.
  • Maintain close working relationships where appropriate with recruitment agencies and/or manpower service providers.
  • Conduct initial screening of candidate profiles and present a shortlist to the hiring manager reflecting the key components of the job description. Follow up with hiring managers thereafter to ensure a speedy turn-around of shortlisted candidates.
  • Ensure interviews are scheduled for hiring managers in a timely fashion to assess and evaluate candidates’ suitability for the required position. Provide regular feedback to candidates on the progress of their application.
  • Work closely with the hiring manager and HRBPs to come up with appropriate offer packages to selected candidates and then present these to them.
  • Prepare offers based on the approved salary structure and negotiate the compensation package with the candidates.
  • Respond to employment enquiries, update recruitment schedules and lists as required.
  • Provide onboarding support to candidates from the time they accept the offer through to the time they commence employment
  • Recommend process improvements to ensure the continued effectiveness of our recruitment programmes.
  • Provide regular and meaningful progress update reports to the business on hiring activity across India offices. Responsible for developing and maintaining reports/reporting capability.
  • Comply with all established KPIs for the Recruitment Team within the HR Shared Service Centre. This includes the hiring manager and candidate experience.
  • Ensure all recruitment-related costs are within the overall budget as confirmed by the hiring manager.
  • Decisions limited to application and implementation of applicable policies and procedures.
  • Propose and recommend improvement processes in recruitment.
  • Directs the resource allocation and workloads of a team of subordinates

Essential Skills:
  • Degree & preferably CIPD qualified (or equivalent).
  • Good understanding of recruitment practices in India.
  • Knowledge of standard hiring practices, recruitment metrics, interview techniques, and management systems and approaches.
  • A minimum of 10 years of working experience, a majority of which should have been as a Recruitment specialist.
  • Energy sector experience is preferred (but not essential).
  • International experience or having previously worked in a multinational organisation would be an advantage.
  • Having worked within an HR Shared Service is essential.
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods.
  • Proficient with Applicant Tracking Systems, preferably Taleo or other Recruitment systems.
  • Proficient with sourcing via Social Media platforms and LinkedIn Recruiter
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, and able to handle multiple projects.
  • Have a keen eye for detail whilst being results-oriented and able to stay calm under pressure and in uncertainty.
  • Able to form strong connections with others, earning their trust, and hence being able to influence even the highest level of management in the business.
  • Proactive approach to HR and recruitment as a value-add function.
