Job Description

Skill : Senior Tableau Developer Experience 4-6 years of experience as a Reporting Developer (SSRS and Tableau) working on ETL implementations. Location : Bangalore Notice period : Immediate to 15 days joiners only.
Roles & Responsibilities:

• 
  The SSRS/Tableau Report or Reporting Developer will manage the client and

enterprise information and reporting needs.

• Work closely with internal customers analyzing problems and to create and

maintain reports, maintaining SSRS/Tableau Reports and ad-hoc SQL scripts.

• Preparing data for use by Tableau. Establishing connections to Data.
• Adding or Creating Dimensions, Measures and Calculations.
• Performing Data Modeling in Tableau Desktop.
• Developing Workbooks and Hyper Extracts on Tableau Desktop.
• Publishing Workbooks and Data Sources to Tableau Development and QA sites.
• Refreshing Extracts on Development and QA sites.
• Resolving any data or performance issues related to workbooks and data sources.
• Cataloging measures and dimensions in Collibra.
• Requesting access for Interactors and Viewers.
• Follow up Managers for any required approvals.
• Providing knowledge transfer and support to Interactors and Viewers.
• Coordinating with Tableau Admin Team for Production Deployment.
• Providing Tier 1 support for Tableau issues reported by departmental or group personnel.
• Monitoring Usage Report of their Workbooks and Data Sources
• Report Developer will work across enterprise database systems.
• Should be able to customize tasks for performing data conversions (ETL) to import

and export data for external vendors and synchronized systems Deep fundamental understanding of web application technology
Skills:

• A Bachelors Degree in Business or Computer Science.
• Enterprise level experience in life cycle development of applications.
• Proficiency in Structured Query Languages and extensive data sets.
• Excellent analytical skills to analyze the requirements of the client or business.
• High degree of skill in system software from beginning till the end of the project.
• Finding solutions for systems during the phase of consumer testing and prototyping.
• Strong attention to detail for spotting errors in data or coding.
• In-depth knowledge of MicroStrategy and Data Architecture.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Expert skills in writing complex SQL queries
• Ability to effectively translate user requests in to reporting specifications.
• Ability to utilize Visual Studio in creating and deploying SSRS reports and Tableau.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
