Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Systems Operations Engineer.
In this role, you will:
Lead or participate in managing all installed systems and infrastructure within the systems Operations functional area
Contribute in increasing system efficiencies and lowering the human intervention time on related tasks
Review and analyze moderately complex operational support systems, application software, and system management tools to ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Work with vendors and other technical personnel for problem resolution
Lead team to meet technical deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of technical process controls or standards
Collaborate with vendors and other technical personnel to resolve technical issues and achieve highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of Systems Engineering, Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Additional Required Qualification:
Should have good exposure to Application Support on UNIX/Linux environments.
Expertise in Web servers and Application servers.
Expertise on maintenance of Middleware products like Tomcat, WebSphere etc.
Strong in UNIX commands and Shell scripting
Ability to work in shifts (morning and afternoon shifts only), weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled. Hands-on experience in SQL/PL-SQL, PERL, Python scripting ,U-Deploy, Jenkins
Prior experience in FICO Falcon product is preferred.
Experience in NOSQL Couchbase database is preferred.
Hands-on experience in monitoring and visualization tools like AppDynamics, AppviewX, Splunk, Grafana

L2 support service -Application Availability/Incident Management/Problem Management
Team member will be working as application technical Support role and owns the incident and problem management process in production environment for critical counterfeit check detection processing applications.
Candidate will have continuous vigil/monitoring of the application logs, infrastructure, servers, etc. Follow the escalation matrix in place, reach out to application teams if required, document the overall steps taken and communicate to all stakeholders to close the loop.
Application proactive monitoring to ensure 100% application availability to business, Receive and act on alerts, Executing SOPs.
Incidents triage and coordination for tickets
Stakeholder communication
Execute workarounds
Coordinate with third parties and other systems for fixes
Code analysis and provide RCA
Problem management
Recommendations of changes for fix
Adhoc service requests
Provide software/patch deployment support
