Experience of 8 years in core Windows servers for L3 position.
Knowledge on AD, DNS, DHCP, Group policy.
Basic Knowledge on Storage and Strong knowledge on Windows Server.
Strong knowledge on OS and patching trouble shooting.
Basic knowledge on Network and Vmware (L2 level). Strong knowledge on Backup troubleshooting.
Windows Cluster
Basic Azure knowledge (will be add on)
Roles and Responsibilities
Providing support to primarily external customers
Interact with customers, end-users and team members on a daily basis.
Troubleshoot Windows environments
Escalation points for lower tier technical teams
Installation, configuration, maintenance and support for hardware, operating systems and applications
Participation in completing customer change requests and problem ticket resolution outside of normal business hours.
Mandatory Skills
Windows 2008, 2012, 2016, 2019, 2022 Server Operating System Administration
Knowledge of Windows Clustering and Network Load Balancing
Strong skills in configuring, maintaining and troubleshooting server-class hardware
(Preferably HP, Dell, IBM, Cisco, Blade Chassis) Good troubleshooting knowledge of all the current Windows OS version and Active Directory, Active Directory Certificate Services.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving network related issues, including a fundamental knowledge of networking concepts
Experience identifying issues and determining root cause via a consistent, logical approach
Proven track record providing excellent customer service
Good to have skills: Good Communication Skills, VMWare and Storage Knowledge to have an understanding on the Whole Environment
Understanding of multiple scripting languages to develop solutions for automation and reporting
Research system vulnerabilities and provide documentation for future use implementing corrective actions as required
