Join us and be part of a vibrant company that embraces diverse perspectives, and is committed to doing well by doing good.IntroductionThe Universal Banking Finastra Cloud is supported by a global cloud infrastructure leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies, system integrators and solution partners delivering Finastra Universal Banking solutions intended for the highest level of security, performance and operating excellence.Application Technical Operations group will be responsible for monitoring and administrating end-to-end Cloud Core Banking solution for multiple customers around the world, ensuring Infrastructure & Application monitoring, implementing planned activities to upgrade the applications working collaboratively with multiple technical groups from Product, DevOps, Global Services and Customer Support.ResponsibilitiesAs a Expert System Engineer - AppOps (Production Resiliency), your key responsibilities will include:xc2xb7 Disaster Recovery and Backup Strategies: Develop and maintain disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies to ensure production resiliency.xc2xb7 Plan Maintenance: Regularly update and maintain DR and backup plans.xc2xb7 Testing and Validation: Periodically test DR and restore processes to ensure effectiveness and reliability.xc2xb7 Monitoring: Monitor backup tasks and DR recovery point objectives (RPO) to ensure compliance with business requirements.xc2xb7 Infrastructure Management: Deploy and manage Azure Virtual Machines (Linux RHEL 8.x, 9.x, Windows Server) and PaaS services (storage accounts, key vaults, Azure Web App, ADF, Azure SQL databases) using DevOps pipelines.xc2xb7 Application Operations: Install and configure new releases, service packs, patches, and hot-fixes for Core Banking Solutions via Azure DevOps pipelines.xc2xb7 Incident and Event Management: Investigate and troubleshoot technical issues and incidents in live or implementation client environments, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to SLAs.xc2xb7 Integration Management: Configure and maintain integrations of the Core Banking solution.xc2xb7 Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for operational task automation.xc2xb7 Access Management: Administer access management using Finastra Corporate Access Management tools.xc2xb7 Service Reviews: Participate in periodic service reviews, providing updates and recommendations for improvements.xc2xb7 Knowledge Management: Create, review, and update knowledge-based articles in the Application Operations repository.xc2xb7 Proactive Monitoring: Collect and evaluate application performance metrics, providing feedback to Product & QA teams.xc2xb7 Innovation and Improvement: Drive innovation by adopting new cloud technologies and identifying operational tasks for automation.xc2xb7 Collaboration: Work closely with Universal Banking business units to enhance monitoring practices and service improvements.Skills and Qualificationsxc2xb7 Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.xc2xb7 Experience: 6-8 years of hands-on experience in public cloud infrastructure and services (preferably Microsoft Azure).xc2xb7 Technical Skills:xc2xb7 Proficiency with Windows and Linux operating systems (Win Server 2019, RHEL 8.X).xc2xb7 Experience with Azure cloud PaaS services (Azure Data Factory, Microsoft SQL, storage accounts, load balancers).xc2xb7 Knowledge of IT operations, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery architectures.xc2xb7 Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting skills.xc2xb7 Expertise in disaster recovery and backup strategies.xc2xb7 Experience in database technologies (Oracle, MS SQLServer, PostgreSQL), scripting languages (Perl, Python, Korn Shell, Windows batch), and middleware (Apache Tomcat, IIS Server, Java technologies, JBoss EAP).xc2xb7 Experience with DevOps technologies, preferably Azure DevOps.xc2xb7 Soft Skills:xc2xb7 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.xc2xb7 Excellent written and verbal communication skills.xc2xb7 Customer-centric mindset with a focus on service delivery.xc2xb7 Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision.xc2xb7 Agile and collaborative working style.We are proud to offer a range of incentives to our employees worldwide.
