Job Summary:



The Developer - Remote Unit Development (RUD) will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining healthcare information systems and integrating them with external health and insurance platforms such as NPHIES / DHPO. The role involves collaborating with the technical and business teams to enhance system functionalities, ensure compliance with healthcare data standards, and support seamless operations across multiple healthcare units remotely.

Key Responsibilities:



Develop, implement, and maintain Hospital Information System (HIS) modules for remote healthcare units.

Integrate HIS systems with NPHIES / DHPO portal (eligibility, eclaims, preauthorization, remittance, and reconciliation).

Ensure compliance with DHA, MOH, CCHI, and NPHIES / DHPO data exchange standards.

Create, test, and maintain APIs and web services to support system interoperability between internal and external systems.

Analyze and troubleshoot technical issues related to HIS modules, NPHIES / DHPO transactions, and system integration.

Collaborate with the infrastructure and database teams to ensure optimal system performance, data security, and accuracy.

Develop and maintain system documentation, process flow diagrams, and user manuals.

Provide technical support and training to remote unit users and coordinate with the central IT team for updates and fixes.

Participate in system upgrade and enhancement projects to meet evolving healthcare technology standards.

Support data migration, reporting, and analytics tasks as required.

Qualifications and Experience:



Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

3-5 years of experience in software development within a healthcare IT environment.

Proven experience in HIS system development and integration.

Hands-on experience with NPHIES / DHPO portal processes including eligibility, claims submission, and reauthorization.

Proficiency in Angular 16+, .NET Core, C#, Microsoft SQL Server, SignalR, SSRS, Web APIs, HTML/CSS, XML/JSON.

Experience in using the third-party library components in Angular like PrimeNG, Kendo

Strong knowledge in Object oriented programming

Experience in writing Unit Testing is an added advantage

Experience in Power BI is an added advantage

Experience in Azure, CI/CD tools is an added advantage

Familiarity in using the AI Tools for code generation and optimization

Familiarity with FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data exchange protocols.

Understanding of ICD10, CPT, and insurance coding standards.

Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills:



Experience in multiunit (remote) system support and deployment.

Knowledge of cloud-based healthcare solutions and data privacy standards.

Ability to coordinate with external vendors, regulatory bodies, and technical partners.

Strong teamwork and time management skills.

Salary is based on hourly basis
