We are seeking a highly skilled System Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting requirements, designing system processes, and collaborating with technical teams to ensure successful solution delivery. This role involves working closely with stakeholders, developers, and testers to ensure that business objectives are translated into functional, efficient, and scalable IT systems.
Responsibilities
Engage with business stakeholders to gather, understand, and document requirements for new systems or enhancements.
Analyze current systems and processes to identify areas for improvement, automation, or optimization.
Translate business requirements into functional specifications, use cases, and process flows.
Collaborate with development teams to design solutions aligned with business goals and technical architecture.
Create and maintain system documentation, including technical specifications, process diagrams, and data flow charts.
Support testing activities by developing test cases, coordinating user acceptance testing (UAT), and validating that solutions meet requirements.
Act as a liaison between business users, technical teams, and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and timely issue resolution.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies relevant to business systems.
Skills
Must have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
4-7 years' experience as a System Analyst or Business Analyst in IT projects, preferably in the retail domain.
Strong understanding of SDLC and agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban).
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for backlog and work item management.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure required; AWS/GCP beneficial).
Knowledge of microservice architecture and API-based integrations.
Experience working with data platforms such as Snowflake and creating reporting requirements for tools like Power BI.
Ability to create process flows, data models, and technical documentation using tools like MS Visio or Lucidchart.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
