Job Description

Senior System Administrator will be responsible for the effective provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems, hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This role ensures that IT systems and services run smoothly, securely, and reliably to support business operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and support

Windows/Linux servers

, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and Exchange/Office 365. Administer and monitor

virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V)

and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Oversee

network security, firewalls, VPNs, and endpoint protection

, ensuring compliance with security policies. Develop and implement

backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans

. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for maximum uptime and efficiency. Perform

patch management, upgrades, and security hardening

across servers and applications. Automate routine administrative tasks using

scripting tools (PowerShell, Bash, Python)

. Maintain accurate

documentation of systems, processes, and procedures

. Collaborate with developers, IT support teams, and vendors to resolve escalated technical issues. Provide

technical guidance and mentorship

to junior administrators and IT staff. Participate in

IT infrastructure projects

, capacity planning, and system architecture design.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

7-10+ years

of experience in system administration, with at least 3+ years in a senior role. Strong expertise in

Windows/Linux server administration, networking, virtualization, and cloud technologies

. Proficiency in

Active Directory, Exchange/Office 365, VMware/Hyper-V, AWS/Azure

. Solid understanding of

network protocols, firewalls, and IT security best practices

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
