Project description



Analyze customer requirement changes or quality issues, reflect necessary modifications into the software, perform

verification to ensure no regressions, and execute full ROM integration tests to secure software quality.


Responsibilities




Key Responsibilities


Verification Planning


Develop comprehensive verification and test plans based on requirements, architecture, and change requests.


Define scope, coverage, entry/exit criteria, and traceability to requirements.


Change Part Verification


Analyze change requests (CRs) and perform impact assessment.


Plan and execute regression and targeted verification for modified components.


Test Design & Execution


Author and execute test cases for MIL and SIL using Simulink Test Manager and related toolchains.


Perform unit testing and SWQT (Software Qualification Testing) with coverage targets.


Conduct interface, integration, and ECU-level verification (including ARXML-based flows).


Static Analysis & Code Quality


Run and triage findings from Polyspace (or equivalent) to enforce MISRA/CERT and coding standards.


Partner with developers to drive closure on critical findings.


Defect Analysis & Reviews


Lead internal peer reviews of test artefacts and code.


Reproduce, isolate, and analyze defects; perform root cause analysis with development teams and propose corrective/preventive actions.


Test Reporting & Compliance


Prepare clear, evidence-based test reports (KPIs, coverage, pass/fail, defect trends) for stakeholders.


Maintain requirements traceability (e.g., Req Test Result) and ensure audit readiness.


Tools & Bus-Level Verification


Conduct network-level tests using CAN, CANoe, CANape, and CAPL scripting.


Support ECU integration workflows leveraging ARXML artefacts.

Must have


Must-Have Qualifications


3-5 years of experience in embedded software testing (automotive preferred).


Hands-on with Static Analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace).


Strong experience in Unit Testing and SWQT with measurable coverage goals.


Proficiency with MATLAB Simulink Test Manager and model-based testing (MIL/SIL).


Solid Embedded C programming knowledge for testability, stubs/mocks, and debug.


Proven test case design & execution skills (boundary, equivalence, state-based, requirement-based).


Familiarity with AUTOSAR concepts and ARXML workflows; ECU integration exposure.


Practical experience with CAN, CANoe, CANape, and CAPL scripting.


Strong analytical skills for defect analysis, root cause investigation, and stakeholder communication.


Nice to have


Nice-to-Have / Preferred


Exposure to ASIL concepts and functional safety processes (ISO 26262 awareness).


Experience with SIL/HIL environments, test automation frameworks, and CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins).


Knowledge of requirements management and traceability tools (e.g., Polarion, DOORS).


Familiarity with coding standards (MISRA-C), static/dynamic coverage (statement/branch/MC/DC).


Experience with UDS, Diagnostics, and calibration workflows.


Scripting for automation (Python/MATLAB) in test pipelines.
