Tracks and manages costs to ensure that the design remains within budget and essential additions are offset by identifying other opportunities for savings
Strives to maximize the financial effectiveness and profitability of the business through diligent application of proper contractual and commercial practices and with careful risk management

Liaises with the engineering and purchase department to ensure project requirements are met
Liaises with main contractors, sub contractors and other parties involved to ensure successful completion of the project
Internal Process/Internal Process/Operations
Demonstrates awareness of key objectives and priorities to assist in measurement, internal and external valuations and administration of contract records
Assists in preparation of quotations/ contracts that are beneficial to both the organization and the vendor by understanding and clearly stating the terms and conditions
Coordinates with the Contracts Team in reviewing the Bill of Quantities to ensure the completeness of the BoQ in line with design drawings
Co-ordinates with contracts team in finalization of Contracts Agreements and prepares all contracts related documents
Handles sourcing and purchasing of materials and related products as per project requirements
Prepares daily progress report against estimates for the project
Learning & Development
Provides advice in preparation of knowledge management with regards to the quantity surveying aims, principles and standards
