business. The role covers procurement, vendor management, production planning, inventory control, logistics, and compliance--ensuring uninterrupted production and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement of battery raw materials (Li-ion / Lead-acid components).
Develop and negotiate with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency and quality.
Plan inventory, production schedules, and material availability.
Oversee inbound & outbound logistics and warehouse operations.
Ensure compliance with safety, GST, BIS, and environmental regulations.
Drive cost optimization and process improvements.
Requirements
BE/B.Tech (Mechanical/Electrical/Chemical/Industrial) or MBA (Supply Chain/Operations).
7-12 years of experience in Supply Chain / Operations.
3+ years in battery manufacturing, automotive, electronics, or energy storage.
Strong ERP/SAP knowledge and vendor management skills.
