Job Title / Role : Senior Subject Matter Expert - Cloud Security


Department: D&AI


Section: Cyber Security


Location: Bangalore (Electronic City)


Education Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field


Required Experience: 8+ years of relevant experience.


Position Reports to: CISO


Key Responsibilities
Reviewing cloud architecture and configurations to ensure compliance with security best practices and industry standards

Conducting security assessments and audits of existing cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and weaknesses

Develop and implement effective cloud security strategies. Derive guiding security policies, standards, and procedures related to cloud environments.

Identifying and evaluating security risks associated with cloud deployments. Review the changes to cloud configuration and get the identified security issues fixed. Build necessary automation to identify weaknesses in the cloud configurations. Implement Cloud Security Posture Management (CSPM) platform for all cloud accounts and subscription. Work with the stakeholders to mitigate any identified risks. Plan and implement security for the Cloud storage (Azure blobs, S3 bucket, Managed databases etc).

Strengthen the IAM for the cloud and enforce the principle of the least privilege. Ensure relevant logs for all the cloud accounts/subscriptions are ingested to SIEM, with necessary alerts configured. Ensuring that cloud deployments comply with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards



Qualifications:
Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Certified Security) are a plus

Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud

Strong understanding of cloud security principles, architectures, and best practices

Proficiency in security assessment tools and methodologies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze complex security issues and provide effective solutions

Proactive and self-driven, with a focus on continuous improvement
