Job Description

We are looking for a highly experienced Structural Engineer with strong design and analysis expertise in ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, and RCDC.
The candidate must have hands-on experience in high-rise building design, along with RCC, steel, and composite structures. This role requires someone who can independently handle structural design, coordinate with architects and MEP teams, and deliver high-quality outputs within timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis & design of high-rise buildings (mandatory).

Design RCC, steel, and composite structures using ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RCDC.

Prepare structural drawings, load calculations, design reports, and BOQs.

Review and approve structural drawings generated by drafting team.

Conduct model verification, design validation, and code compliance checks.

Coordinate with architects, clients, contractors, and project managers.

Resolve design-related site queries and support execution teams.

Ensure adherence to IS codes, NBC, and relevant international codes (if applicable).

Manage multiple projects and deliver within deadlines.

Attend technical meetings and present structural concepts/design decisions.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

B.E./B.Tech/M.Tech in Civil/Structural Engineering from a recognized university.

Minimum 5 years experience in structural design (NO freshers or 1-2 year candidates).

Proven experience in high-rise (20+ floors) building design.

Strong command over ETABS, SAFE, SAP2000, RCDC (hands-on).

Deep understanding of RCC, steel, and composite systems.

Strong knowledge of IS codes: IS 456, IS 875, IS 1893, IS 13920, IS 800, etc.

Ability to perform manual checks and interpret peer review comments.

Good communication and report-writing skills.

Preferred Qualities

Experience with performance-based design, wind tunnel studies, or tall building guidelines.

Strong problem-solving and engineering judgement.

Ability to mentor junior engineers (optional but desirable).

Prior work experience in structural consultancy firms is ideal.
