The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and a deep understanding of structural codes and construction practices.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the structural design and analysis of residential, commercial, and industrial projects
Prepare and review structural drawings, calculations, and technical reports
Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations
Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals
Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers
Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and resolve technical issues
Support project planning, cost estimation, and risk assessment
Assist in structural audits, inspections, and retrofitting recommendations
Required Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil / Structural Engineering
Minimum 2-5 years of experience in structural engineering (depending on project complexity)
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (
Autocad, STAAD, SketchUp, Revit, etc.
)
Strong knowledge of RCC, steel, and composite structures
Familiarity with relevant IS / international codes and standards
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Strong communication, coordination, and leadership abilities
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
