Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Store Supervisor to oversee and manage our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering or industrial environments, with expertise in inventory control, material handling, and process optimization. This role requires a hands-on professional who can ensure accurate stock management, timely material availability, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage day-to-day store operations including receiving, storage, material issuance, and dispatch Maintain accurate inventory records using ERP/warehouse management systems Ensure timely availability of materials for production and project requirements Implement effective stock control measures to minimize pilferage, damage, and obsolescence Coordinate with procurement, production, logistics, and project teams for material planning Conduct periodic stock audits and reconcile discrepancies Supervise material handling equipment usage and ensure proper upkeep Enforce safety, housekeeping, and quality procedures within the store Train, guide, and evaluate store personnel to enhance productivity Streamline processes for efficiency and cost control in warehouse operations

Required Skills & Competencies

Strong knowledge of inventory management practices and warehouse systems Experience working with ERP software (e.g., Odoo, SAP, Tally ERP) Excellent leadership and team management capabilities Data-driven decision-making and documentation proficiency Strong communication and coordination skills Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel
