Job Summary:



We are seeking a seasoned professional with

15+ years of experience

in

statutory compliance, taxation, and payroll regulation

. The Senior Manager will oversee all aspects of

PF, ESI, TDS, GST

, and related filings, ensure 100% compliance with statutory deadlines, and act as the primary liaison for audits, inspections, and financial governance.

The ideal candidate must possess deep technical knowledge of

labour laws, direct and indirect taxes

, and have hands-on experience handling

multi-entity or multi-state compliance portfolios

.

Key Responsibilities:Statutory Compliance Management



Oversee complete end-to-end compliance of

EPF, ESI, TDS, and GST

for the organization. Review and approve

monthly challans, returns, and reconciliations

. Supervise

ECR uploads

,

ESIC payments

, and employee updates on respective portals. Monitor compliance health through periodic internal audits and statutory inspections. Maintain liaison with government departments -- EPFO, ESIC, Income Tax, GST, and Labour Offices.

Taxation & Filings



Ensure timely and accurate filing of:

PF & ESI:

Monthly by 15th

TDS:

Monthly by 7th and quarterly returns on statutory dates

GST:

GSTR-1, 3B, 9 as per deadlines Oversee

ITC reconciliation, TDS certificates (Form 16/16A)

, and respond to

notices or discrepancies

. Coordinate with internal and external auditors for compliance verification.

Team & Process Leadership



Lead and mentor a team of junior accounts and payroll executives. Develop and implement

SOPs for compliance management

. Maintain and update a

compliance calendar

for all entities under management. Collaborate with HR and Finance for payroll integration and statutory remittances.

Audit, Inspection & Legal Liaison



Handle all statutory audits, inspections, and departmental communications. Prepare detailed reports and respond to queries from PF, ESIC, GST, and Income Tax departments. Advise management on

compliance risk mitigation

and process improvements.

Required Qualifications & Experience:



Education:

B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) / CA (Inter) preferred.

Experience:

Minimum

15 years

in statutory compliance, taxation, and payroll accounting.

Tally ERP / SAP / Busy / Excel Advanced Tools

Core Competencies:



In-depth statutory knowledge and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proven ability to handle audits and inspections independently. Leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination. Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

Preferred:



Prior experience in

multi-state operations or corporate group structures

. Exposure to

MSME, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, and Shop Act

compliances. Ability to implement

digital compliance systems or automation tools

.
