Position Title: Senior Staff Software Engineer
Roles & responsibilities:

• Improves code structure and architecture in service of testability and maintainability. Creates reusable code snippets as applicable.
• Writes, co-writes, and reviews design documentation.
• Tech explorations/POCs and owning and managing Tech roadmap for their respective areas
• Is highly proficient in one or more technical areas.
• Interprets business requirements/strategies for assigned groups; articulates capabilities, problem statements and gaps to appropriate audiences
• Continually evaluates technology effectiveness/data interoperability of complex systems, influences vendor roadmap and direction of products
• Leads large complex projects and initiatives
• Assists in presenting proposed future state and strategy/roadmaps to business/tech

Experience Required:

• 12+ years of experience in designing/developing Full Stack applications that can scale.
• 4+ years of experience in leading teams and designing large scale applications
• 8+ years of programming experience in Java building Micro Services and REST APIs.
• 6+ years of experience in developing web applications using ReactJS / AngularJS
• Broad expertise and knowledge with application servers (such asTomcat, Apache Jetty, Reactor Netty) and database technologies - Relational databases (such as Oracle, Azure SQL Server, Postgres SQL) and/or NoSQL (such as MongoDB or Cassandra) databases
• Broad expertise and knowledge in UI/Web 2.0 Development (JavaScript, CSS, SCSS, HTML5, AJAX, jQuery, NodeJS, ReactJS, AngularJS) and working with Git and/or relevant source code repositories.
• Broad expertise and knowledge of Web Application flow
• Broad expertise and knowledge of SPA, SSR.
• Broad expertise and knowledge of CMS.
• Minimum 4+ years of experience with cloud platform services and application development using Microsoft Azure or GCP or AWS.
• Experience using GitHub Co-Pilot or similar tools.
• In Depth experience with automated unit testing with tools like JUnit/TestNGand test automation frameworks such as Selenium/Playwright/Cucumber/Res-Assured/Karate
• Broad expertise and knowledge with the full software development lifecycle and software development methodologies (Agile).
• Broad expertise and knowledge with analyzing and tuning code/application performance under High volume/High availability environments.
• Broad expertise and knowledge in capacity planning, systems performance analysis and optimization in a distributed client/server environment

• Retail Industry and eCommerce Experience is a must.
• Extensive experienced in mentoring development teams and delivering large scale application
• Strong expertise in ensuring the application is designed and can run in production environments with an SRE (Site Reliability Engineering) mindset
• Proficient in design patterns and architectural skills, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale initiatives while managing multiple parallel projects effectively
