Job Description

This role focuses on architecting and designing Product Information Management solutions to support customers' digital journeys, including upcoming eCommerce initiatives. The position requires working within a scaled agile framework, collaborating with internal and external experts to enhance products, and providing technical leadership for solution implementation. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert in product information management, lead technical workshops, maintain technological roadmaps, and ensure solution alignment across different domain areas while adhering to architecture principles and guidelines.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

Architect and design solutions for Product Information Management which support customer's digital journey, also considering upcoming eCommerce journeys for Product Experiences Support Product Teams within a scaled agile framework for a specific domain area to design enhancements together with internal and external experts, proactively engaging with stakeholders to ensure seamless execution Provide an in-depth knowledge & technical leadership for solution implementation Document, inform, and communicate taken decisions with close collaboration with applications and domains owners Present and discuss results on different management levels within IT and with our internal customers, e.g. Sales & Marketing, Research and Development Assess risks, availability, capacity, and service level agreements Act as subject matter expert in the area of product information management Support vendors' and suppliers' backlogs delivery Maintain overview on technological roadmap of relevant software solutions Provide technical leadership during solution upgrades, migrations, and performance tuning Lead technical workshops for requirements gathering and high-level design Join alignments across different domain areas to review and confirm dependencies with other Product Teams Solution Alignment: Ensures that domain solutions adhere to architecture principles and guidelines Architecture Evaluation: Identifies solution options, evaluates them and supports solution architecture

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

A degree in Informatics, Computer Science, Data Science or a similar engineering background; At least 5 years of experience related to Master Data and Document Management, Product Information Management, Product and Application Data handling, Data Integration Management; Expertise in configuring and customizing PIM systems (e.g. Akeneo, Plytix, Syndigo, Stibo Systems); Practical experience in defining and implementing data integration across diverse enterprise applications, while maintaining a harmonized Master Data concept including data architecture, data governance principles, and data quality frameworks; Profound technical experience with SQL, HTML/CSS, XML, Javascript, REST API and Web Protocols; Familiarity with cloud and hybrid deployment models; Experience with Data Models and GenAI is a plus; Knowledge and experience with SAFe Agile, DevOps, IT Service Management (ITIL), and Enterprise Architecture; Excellent communication and analytical skills as well as strong interpersonal and change management skills to interact with cross-functional global teams; Experience in Electronics or Semi-Conductor industry would be a plus; Fluent English language skills, basic German language skills would be a plus.
