Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role



IFX Design Engineer

Develop software tools to automate design processes. Model design problems in software and provide automation. Create

UML models

for design data and generate code from it. Infineon developed a strategy and an infrastructure supporting that strategy that significantly boosts design productivity. Infineon searches a senior person that drives this new methodology forward - in application and in infrastructure Create data structure to hold design data, fill them with formalized data (e.g. XML, HDL-Models), and generate code out of it. Develop with design engineers methods, that could further automate their jobs and help them to implement the methods quickly Generalize implementation and structure it following state-of-the-art software concepts Define architecture, coding principle, QA strategy and documentation plans for the implementations mentioned above

Your Profile

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

Worked on designing/coding in software/EDA tools and flows Hands on any

Object oriented programming language

and worked on DataStructures and Algorithms Exposure to Unix/ Linux Platforms Preferably having working knowledge in

Perl/ Python

Understanding of

UML modelling

language preferred Understand requirements and build quick solutions to help designers Willing to dive into new things and pick them up fast Very good analytical skills required to evaluate complex situations Focus on exchange of complex technical information Good reporting and presentation skills Good understanding of internal interfaces. Good team player as teams is spread across globe
