Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Senior Staff Engineer with a strong
background in hands-on coding, design, and architecture to lead the development of
robust e-commerce platforms from scratch. Passionate and hungry to learn about
technology and driven to deliver impactful solutions that drive business success.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end development of e-commerce platforms from concept to
production, including architecture design, implementation, and deployment.
Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and design
patterns.
Architect scalable, high-performance systems that can handle large volumes of
traffic and transactions.
Mentor and coach junior engineers, providing guidance and support to help them
grow and develop their technical skills.
Drive innovation and continuous improvement in the development process,
leveraging new technologies and methodologies to enhance platform
capabilities.
Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in
e-commerce and software engineering.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related
field.
12+ years of hands-on experience in software engineering, with a focus on ecommerce platform development.
Proven track record of building and delivering scalable, high-performance ecommerce platforms from scratch.
Strong expertise in coding, design, and architecture, with proficiency in one or
more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
Experience with modern web technologies, frameworks, and libraries (e.g., JEE,
Python, Node.js). Technology agnostic engineer.
Deep understanding of database technologies, distributed systems, and cloud
computing platforms.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically
and strategically.
Passionate about technology and driven to deliver impactful solutions that drive
business success.
Additional Requirements:
Experience in the fintech or e-commerce industry is highly preferred.
Prior experience working in a start-up or fast-paced environment is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a dynamic and challenging environment, with a passion for
