Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented

Senior SQL Developer

to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in developing and optimizing complex T-SQL scripts and managing SQL Server environments. You will collaborate closely with application developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to ensure high-performance and secure database systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop complex

T-SQL queries

,

stored procedures

,

functions

,

views

, and

triggers

. Optimize and refactor existing database queries and procedures for better

performance

and

scalability

. Collaborate with application developers to design and implement effective backend database solutions. Participate in

data modeling

,

schema design

, and database architecture discussions. Monitor and maintain

SQL Server instances

(both

on-premises

and/or

cloud-based

). Perform

backup & restore operations

, manage

log shipping

, and support

disaster recovery planning

. Configure and monitor

SQL Server Agent Jobs

, set up

alerts

, and implement

maintenance plans

. Conduct

capacity planning

,

index management

, and

storage optimization

. Ensure

database security

, manage

user roles and permissions

, and implement

auditing

. Follow and enforce

best practices

, security standards, and compliance guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum

5 years

of hands-on experience as a SQL Developer. Proficiency in

T-SQL

and

Microsoft SQL Server

(2016 or higher preferred). Solid understanding of

query optimization

and

performance tuning

techniques. Experience with

database monitoring tools

,

maintenance

, and

high availability solutions

. Familiarity with

cloud-based SQL environments

(e.g., Azure SQL) is a plus. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
