We are seeking an experienced

Senior Java / Spring Boot Developer

to join our development team for the

Digital Wellbeing Platform

-- a secure, multilingual solution designed to promote healthy digital habits and wellbeing for students, parents, teachers, and counsellors. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in

Java

,

Spring Boot

, and

microservices-based architecture

, and will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services supporting a large, multi-role digital ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain backend services for the

Digital Wellbeing Platform

using

Java Spring Boot

and

RESTful APIs

. Implement scalable microservices for modules such as

Incident Reporting, Counsellor Dashboards, Analytics, and Gamified Engagement

. Integrate backend APIs with

mobile and web applications

and ensure seamless interoperability. Develop data models and ensure secure handling of user data in compliance with

DPDP, GDPR, and HIPAA

standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including

Frontend Developers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and Product Managers

. Contribute to the design and development of

ERP, CRM, and LMS integrations

. Ensure high performance, security, and scalability of backend components. Implement

notifications, alerts, and reporting features

with a focus on modularity and maintainability. Conduct code reviews, write unit/integration tests, and ensure CI/CD pipeline integration. Optimize APIs for multilingual and accessibility-ready web and mobile platforms.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in backend development using

Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA

. Strong understanding of

REST API design

,

microservices

, and

MVC architecture

. Experience with

SQL/NoSQL databases

(MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Hands-on experience with

Git, Maven/Gradle

, and CI/CD tools like

Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps

. Experience integrating

third-party APIs and enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, LMS)

. Knowledge of

authentication & authorization

(JWT, OAuth2, RBAC). Familiarity with

containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP). Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have:

Exposure to

Angular, React, or Vue.js

for API integration. Experience with

real-time notifications

(WebSockets, Kafka, RabbitMQ). Familiarity with

AI/ML model integration

and

analytics dashboards

. Knowledge of

WCAG 2.1 accessibility compliance

and

multilingual application development

Pay: ₹384,898.18 - ₹1,993,366.96 per year
