About The Job:

• We are seeking an experienced Splunk Developer to design, develop, and optimize Splunk solutions for enterprise-scale environments.

Essential Job Functions:

• Design, develop, and maintain Splunk dashboards, reports, alerts, and visualizations.
• Write and optimize SPL (Search Processing Language) queries for performance and scalability.
• Administer and manage Splunk Enterprise/Cloud environments, including upgrades, clustering, and capacity planning.
• Integrate Splunk with legacy systems, cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure), and security tools.
• Implement security use cases including incident detection, triage, and compliance monitoring.
• Develop automated workflows for incident response, defect detection, and ServiceNow ticket creation.
• Collaborate with system administrators, developers, and security teams to ensure Splunk best practices.
• Perform disaster recovery planning, optimization, and troubleshooting of Splunk deployments.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) for Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) and ITSI.
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and executive-level reports for stakeholders.

Must-Have Skills

• Splunk Development & Administration: Splunk Enterprise, Splunk Cloud, Splunk ITSI, Splunk ES, DB Connect.
• SPL (Search Processing Language): Advanced query writing, dashboarding, visualization, KPIs.
• Security & Monitoring: SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability assessment tools (Nessus, NMAP, Rapid7, ArcSight).
• Operating Systems: Windows, Linux/Unix (Red Hat, Solaris).
• Cloud Platforms: AWS (CloudWatch, Lambda, EC2, S3, CloudTrail), GCP, Azure.
• Scripting Languages: Python, Bash, Perl, Ruby (automation and integration).
• Networking & Infrastructure: TCP/IP, routers, switches, LAN/WAN, VMware, endpoint security.
• Big Data Technologies: Hadoop, BigQuery, JVM, Google Cloud.
• Automation Tools: ServiceNow, Robot Framework, Selenium, CI/CD pipelines.
• Technical Documentation: Reports, training material, architecture diagrams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Splunk Certified Admin or equivalent certifications.
• Experience with machine learning toolkits in Splunk.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL best practices and enterprise-scale environments.
• Proven ability to lead teams, mentor engineers, and deliver enterprise Splunk solutions.
