Job Summary:

Sr.Specilaist,D&T,Solid Works will provide support of Engineering tools including SolidWorks, and all products related suite as simulation tools, Primary responsibilities include product enhancements, SW upgrades, training, and end user support.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide standard and custom product technical support for SolidWorks, and other SolidWorks products to D&T teams to enhance PLM capabilities to work reliably and efficiently.
• Troubleshooting end-user technical challenges for SolidWorks, SolidWorks Simulation, Simulation Flow, SolidWorks Composer, and other SolidWorks suite of products s.
• Staying in touch with what\'s new within the SolidWorks suite of products.
• Conduct standard and custom User training for SolidWorks, suite of products and new in version.
• Provide installation, implementation, and best practices techniques for SolidWorks, and all suite of products.
• Responsible for SolidWorks administration, users, licenses, manage and run upgrades.
• Responsible for Manual Data migration to any PLM system using SolidWorks tool.
• Perform major CAD upgrades/updates/introductions including installations and support of SCCM applications on Windows environments.
• Perform Quality Assurance testing to support application change with respect to updates, upgrades, and migrations.
• Identifying new products, processes, techniques, and Add-Ins that would be of benefit to the Engineering/Development Groups.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or Technology related discipline.
• 5-8 years experience in Mechanical Computer Aided Design and/or equivalent experience in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Design field.
• At least 3 years of experience using SOLIDWORKS.
• SOLIDWORKS Certification (CSWP, CSWPA, CSWE) .

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Experience with engineering, and computer troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.
• Must have previous Strong experience with 3D computer aided design product SolidWorks
• Experience using and implementing PLM programs.
• Teamcenter knowledge is added advantage.
• Knowledge of CAD and PDM best practices.
• Knowledge in SCCM tool and Scripting abilities
• Target Allocation: 45% Professional Services, 15% Professional Development, 20% Support, 20% Admin
• A desire to improve efficiency and workflows.
• A desire to continually advance technical knowledge and hands-on ability
• -Carries a strong professional attitude in all settings, including client on site visits

Travel Requirements:

• Must be able to travel up to 15% of the time
• Comfortable with office timing 12:00PM to 9:00PM
