Role / Job Title: Senior Specialist-Credit Administration
Function/ Department: Wholesale Banking Operations
Job Purpose:
Job requires interest in Post sanction activities in credit framework for Large Corporates and ensuring adherence to credit, regulatory, legal and product guidelines while allowing the disbursement to customer. As last gatekeep of the money and important control functions, role involves extensive due diligence and monitoring of credit conditions stipulated by approving committee and ensuring adequate limit, covenant, collateral and documents management.
Roles & Responsibilities:

  • To handle wide range of products from working capital to term loan, NCD, Investment limits, Portfolio buyout, Commercial paper in Large corporate and FIG segments.
  • Co-ordinate and handle the relationship with the external partners for valuation, audit, title search report and ensure that activities are completed within the timeframe and all invoices related to such activities are processed.
  • Checking if all credit appraisals are adequately approved and conform to internal as well as RBI guidelines.
  • Ensure enforceable legal documentation for credit facilities as per legal guidance and standard format/procedures. Involve in security creation including mortgages, pledge, hypothecation etc.
  • To Ensure compliance with all condition's precedent prior to disbursement.
  • To give clearance for disbursement through the LSM/DM which is sent to Loan Operations.
  • Ensure various covenant/deferrals tracking in system.
  • Liaison with Business Teams, Legal, Credit etc. for timely and quality deliverables by resolution of issues/answering queries.
  • Ensuring safe keeping of loan documents and retrieval of documents to vendor.
  • Understanding of various regulatory guidelines relating to credit reporting and RBS submission and preparing the report accurately and timely basis to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Handling various internal governance activities to maintain control over the activities and identify the gap in the process, if any.
Education Qualification:
Graduate: Bachelor's in commerce / Arts / Science / Biology / Business / Computers / Engineering / Management / any others
Post-Graduation: Finance / Marketing / Operations
Professional Qualification: CA / Law / FRM / CS
Experience: 10 - 18 years of total experience
