The purposes of the Daily Suspense Reconciliation is to balance the liability, by assessor, due per the Empower reporting system, and ensure withholding liability payments initiated by third party application are the correct amount . Book-to-tax reconciliation is the act of reconciling the net income on the books to the income reported on the tax return by adding and subtracting the non-tax items. In performing a book-to-tax reconciliation, you must identify those items of income and deduction which differ from book to tax. Completes periodic reports documenting variance root cause and resolution. Verifies problem resolution is timely and accurate. Follows up with appropriate areas regarding unresolved issues. Complete all daily, monthly, and ad-hoc tasks and reporting accurately Prepare weekly / Monthly reports Maintain age breaks by rigorous follow up with Internal teams Connect with partners to new scenarios for variance resolution Escalate all issues promptly and effectively to SME/ Lead/ Supervisor This job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities and qualifications of the job.
