About The Job:

  • Global Level 3 responsibility for M365 services, with focus on Tenant Management, Security, Architecture and Governance
  • To ensure that the M365 services delivered as part of the Microsoft 365 and Global Workplace Services organizations meet the need of the business
  • To design, build, optimize, and maintain the service in a cost-efficient manner globally (Technical Senior M365 expertise)
  • To implement best practices and provide expertise following technical specifications and architecture design
  • To provide and lead governance initiatives around M365 Cloud Services, including usage of main M365 applications, security solutions in the tenant, security assessments and overall security posture
  • To participate in service development and the introduction of new products, services, or features part of M365
  • Responsibility for Operational Excellence regarding M365 services at Level 3 support level
Essential Job Functions:
Principal responsibilities
  • Support, configure, develop, maintain, and monitor M365 Services
  • Responsible to develop, document and sustain the architecture and relevant processes related to M365 services
  • Technical Coordinator for M365 projects
  • Enforce the creation of technical concept documents, SOPs, and best practices for using M365's different line of products with a focus on M365 governance activities, Tenant Management, Security, and security posture
  • Provides governance and technical direction and act as a technical authority on topics related to M365 services
  • Analyze and assess business requirements and solutions in the context of M365, keeping in mind security as a fundamental part of the solution
  • Handle change management around Microsoft updates to the M365 and Entra ID
  • Provide services and third-level support in line with service-level agreements
  • Work with Evergreen activities, plan, communicate, and perform the necessary steps to take a new feature or product into a sustainable service offering
  • Support and sustain implementation of security solutions like DLP, Sensitivity labels, Conditional Access

Required key skills (functional/technical)
Technical
  • Experience in Cloud architecture and security
  • Experience with SharePoint and Teams as a collaboration platform
  • Good experience with other M365 technologies like, Exchange Online, Power Platform, etc.
  • Vast experience with Entra ID, especially in the context of M365 and security
  • Vast experience with PowerShell applicable to M365 and Entra ID
  • Managing and administering M365 Tenants for large organizations
  • Good experience with Security controls for administrators of global tenants
Functional
  • Knowledge and understanding of ITIL processes, Service Management and Service Delivery
  • Confidence to work with and present to business Communities
  • Experience with Project Management and ability to coordinate a project
  • Ability to work in a geographically dispersed team
Required qualifications/experience
  • Bachelor's degree with a major in computer science, information management systems, or business administration and 10 years+ of experience providing IT application support and administration, including experience leading IT projects
  • 5+ years' experience with the operation and maintenance of M365 Tenants, including roles as L3 administrator or M365 solution architect
  • 8+ years working as Administrator, Cloud Architect or global development
  • 5+ years' experience with PowerShell for common tasks
  • Good English skills, both verbally and written
  • Experience creating technical concepts and driving technical implementations
