We will count on you to:
  • Understand the different products currently available within the UK Employee Benefits portfolio
  • Work with Internal stakeholders and external clients in eliciting business requirements.
  • Be able to influence technical teams and management with superior grasp on technology and system implementation
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL server 2014 or above, expert in DML, DDL, good knowledge on SSIS & SSRS. Good knowledge in database design and development using latest version of SQL Server (2016/2014)
  • C#, vb.net, MVC will be added advantage.
  • Strong understanding of Agile development practices, designing and developing enterprise class software applications using Microsoft .NET and SQL Server, with an industry experience of 4-6 years
  • Excellent understanding of modern technologies using Azure, DevOps.
  • DevOps model expertise with expertise in automating deployments and continuous integration
  • Working on Agile/Scrum development methodology Apply best practices for effective communication and problem-solving
What you need to have:
  • Understanding of Data migration, SSIS, ETL, Interfaces, report (Crystal/SSRS)
  • Expertise in database technology including relational design, MS SQL, ORM, BI
  • Comprehensive understanding of object-oriented and service-oriented application development techniques and best practices
  • C#, vb.net, MVC will be added advantage.
  • Expertise in using automated source control and continuous integration/ deployment approaches
  • Expertise in complex system debugging, performance profiling, optimization, multi-threading and automated unit testing
  • Very good communication skills, ability to make design decisions and see through implementation for complex products
  • Add on if having insurance/employee benefits domain knowledge
  • Development methodologies and processes, including tools and usage of tools to gain edge in productivity and solutions
