Operations [Work Permit, Dependent Work Permit, Dependent Visa and Permanent Residency and Permanent Residency (e.g: Green Card)]:
In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for employees regarding all aspects of US employment-based immigration.
Provide SME advise, support and guidance.
H-1B, H-1B amendment, Extensions
+ JD review and Job title determination
+ LCA posting
+ Maintain PAFs
+ Work on the H-1B RFE responses L-1, L-1 Extensions
+ Prepare L-1 Blanket/general applications.
+ Provide guidance to employees about visa category and requirements. Dependent visa
+ Prepare dependent visa applications.
+ Provide guidance about visa category and requirements. Green Card:
+ Identification of correct category as per the eligibility criteria
+ Processing PERM (PWD, Employment, Job Postings, PERM 9089
+ Processing I-140, I-485, EAD, Advance Parole applications Seek/ask for the necessary approvals for work permit, dependent visa and permanent residency processing as per the company policy.
Coordinate with employees for document preparation and collection
Create online employee accounts wherever required for the Work permit, dependent Visa and permanent residency application.
Schedule work permit, dependent visa and permanent residency processing appointments
Prepare supporting letters and other relevant company documents required for the work permit, dependent visa and permanent residency processing.
Coordinate with other functions whenever documents required from them.
Coordinate with Immigration attorney/law firms for application processing and ensure timely submission of the application.
Follow-up for all ongoing applications
Check and verify the information printed on the Work permit, dependent visa and permanent residency.
Hanover the documents to employees after the completion of the Work permit, dependent visa and permanent residency process
Record Keeping:
Update the application processing information in the record trackers.
Update the work Permit, dependent visa and permanent residency details in the tracker and the document record system.
Maintain monthly record of all the work permit, dependent visa and permanent residency ready employees.
Maintain the database with accurate work Permit, dependent visa and permanent residency information and milestones.
Compliances
:
PAF maintenance
Track expiry of the I-94, work permit, dependent visa, and initiate extension process at least six months in advance
Conduct monthly H-1B compliance internal audit and initiate amendment applications, wherever required.
Invoices and Billing:
Provide finance department with the financial provisions to be done.
Follow-up with service provider for invoices as per the schedule
Check invoices as per the agreements and submit to finance department for processing and payments.
Reporting:
Prepare reports on monthly basis as per the defined report formats.
Requirements
:
Must have experience in handling US H-1B, L-1 and Green Card processing as per the above-mentioned role and responsibilities.
At least 5-7 years of working experience in handling US H-1B, L-1 and Green Card processing in the IT company in HR/Admin position serving internal customers.
Knowledge of Work Permit, Dependent Visa of other companies will be an added advantage.
