We are seeking a talented individual to join our Sales Enablement team at Mercer. This role will be based in Gurgaon. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

Senior Specialist - Graphic Design




Sales Enablement Center of Excellence (CoE) provides Proposal & Bid Management support to various Mercer business across UK, Europe, Ireland and US & Canada, and as a part of its extended scope, the CoE will also be providing support to the Pacific Mercer IMPACT Team. The CoE team comprises of bid managers, content managers and graphic designers who work together towards winning more business for Mercer.


The purpose of this role is to provide design support to bid managers and consultants and independently manage production of high-quality responses to RFIs, RFPs, re-tenders, DDQs and Pitch presentations as required by the Pacific Mercer IMPACT Program Manager.

We will count on you to:




Understand aesthetic requirements, cultural sensitivities in country and business needs of the operating companies to drive the team to deliver brand compliant creative outputs. The Sr. Specialist - Graphics Design, will act as a foundational designer at the offshore centre in Mumbai/ Gurgaon, for the Pacific Mercer IMPACT Team. The incumbent is expected to deliver excellence in Print and PowerPoint based outputs that will contribute towards revenue generation for the business whilst protecting and monitoring the integrity of the Mercer Brand look and feel to build and strengthen our brand visual identity. You will be required to:

Deliver on design requirements (Print, PowerPoint, HTML emailers, video creation/edits) in compliance with brand and as per internal quality standards Be responsible for gate-keeping requests from the Pacific Mercer IMPACT Program Manager Deliver to timelines as agreed with stakeholders during scoping stage Manage delivery on parallel projects independently Effectively communicate any risks to meeting timelines and constantly engage the stakeholders to avoid post-delivery rework Proactively communicate and agree revised deadlines with stakeholders Pitch in for balanced workload during crunch time Demonstrate the ability to recognise business critical requirements and facilitate the delivery of these with the highest priority Combine business knowledge with the design request to search for appropriate solutions/ imagery/ graphics Provide design value addition in terms of graphical inputs such as custom infographics created based on evaluating the content Provide design value-add in terms of providing alternate representation of data - Reimagine basic graphics/ pie charts/ bar graphs to more visually appealing creative representations Lead consultations with stakeholders to provide alternative options for creative outputs or design solutions for critical marketing, sales support and client engagement collateral Stay abreast of developments in design to provide insights to the team and stakeholders, and explore trends in creative packaging of corporate proposals, bid documents etc. Upskill self to stay aware of changing tools, technologies and trends particularly in the graphic design and marketing areas Attain appropriate skills and build individual capability development and training plans

What you need to have:



Solid creative design background with 3-5 years' hands-on print and PowerPoint experience preferably working in Big 4/ consulting firms, or high-profile design agency, with experience of direct international stakeholder interaction Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design or Fine Arts/ Applied Arts Experience of print, digital, graphic design, video creation and editing Strong Interaction Design skills and Design thinking (knack for making complex information clear for stakeholders). Strong stakeholder communication skills (presentation) and the ability to present and sell ideas to various audiences (technical and non-technical) Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) and Adobe After Effects for motion graphics and video editing Expert Knowledge of Microsoft Office PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Filemaker Pro Confidence and ability to use own initiative and to be flexible and adaptable Ability to listen but to also challenge ideas and provide alternative solutions Ability to produce outstanding independent outputs and work collaboratively

General principles of marketing and branding Post Graduate Degree in Design preferred Experience of digital design with exposure to animation and digital asset creation will be
an advantage
Awareness of industry best practices in interactive visual storyboarding techniques Possess user-centred design (UCD) process methods to mobile and web applications from concept to launch. Understanding of changing design trends in Mobile/ Web based platforms will be an advantage Experience of working with branding and marketing teams will be preferred
