What will you do?

The Corporate Applications Solutions (CAS) team is looking for an experienced Hyperion EPM Cloud Technical Consultant who will bring expertise in development, maintenance, and implementation of Oracle Hyperion planning solutions for the corporate finance area.

This is an exciting period for the corporate Finance area as we are in the middle of integrating new solutions like SAP and AWS Cloud while also transitioning to delivery models using digital DevOps processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for development, integration, Operation and project delivery focusing on our financial reconciliation and related systems.

This is Operation role (60%) and s Development (40%) work to support business users during Month end / Quarter end.

Your scope of work / key responsibilities:

Hands on development on Essbase and Hyperion Planning including batch scripting and integration

Provide Operation support during Month end / Quarter end cycles.

Analyze end user requirements and provide corresponding design considerations as per industry standard best practice

Work as the Onsite technical lead with Offshore and ensure defect free delivery

Write automation scripts and business rules as per business requirements

Provide help / support to end users on Essbase, Hyperion Planning, HFR and SmartView

Provide Production support related to Hyperion Automation Jobs including on-call (rotational basis) during off-hours / overnight based on Production job failures.

Detailed System design documentation

Performance Tuning and process improvement

Provide necessary technical support and work with the Technical Team

Ability to build and design high level solution and develop high complexity code with Zero defect (e.g., functionality, business logics),written to be read as well as executed

Key Qualifications and experience:

5+ Years of strong development skill with Essbase and Hyperion Planning

Total Work experience 7-9 years

Technical Credentials:

Experience in Hyperion EPM Cloud (PBCS/EPBCS) is a MUST \xe2\x80\x93 scripting and integration (use of API / EPM Automate) with on-premise systems

Strong knowledge on Business rules

Good Windows Batch / PowerShell scripting experience

Strong understanding & hands-on skills on ETL & Integration processes / tools (Informatica PowerCentre, SSIS or IICS etc.)

Strong understanding & hands-on skills on SQL

Experience in Job Scheduling tool (IBM Zeke, Control M etc.)

Experience in working in an Agile environment

Basic knowledge on accounting principles

Good Knowledge on Hyperion Backup and Recovery processes

Certification in Essbase & Hyperion Planning is preferred.
