Role description

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior PLSQL Developer with 15 years of handson expertise in Oracle database development This individual will play a critical role in designing optimizing and maintaining complex PLSQL codebases Over time the candidate will transition into a Subject Matter Expert SME role by acquiring deep functional and technical knowledge of the application landscape



Key Responsibilities



PLSQL Development



Design develop and optimize complex PLSQL procedures functions packages and triggers



Perform performance tuning and query optimization for largescale Oracle databases



Collaborate with application teams to implement business logic and data workflows



Application Expertise SME Transition



Gain indepth understanding of business processes application architecture and data flows



Document functional and technical aspects of the application to support SME responsibilities



Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams providing insights and guidance



Maintenance Support



Provide production support for PLSQLbased applications and resolve datarelated issues



Participate in code reviews impact analysis and release planning



Collaboration Leadership



Mentor junior developers and guide best practices in PLSQL development



Work closely with QA business analysts and project managers to ensure quality and timely delivery



Required Skills



15 years of experience in Oracle PLSQL development



Strong understanding of database design performance tuning and data modeling



Experience in working with large complex enterprise applications



Excellent analytical problemsolving and communication skills



Ability to work independently and lead technical discussions



Preferred Qualifications



Exposure to Oracle FormsReports Apex or other Oracle tools



Experience in ETL data warehousing or reporting platforms



Prior experience transitioning into SME or businessfacing roles
