in special education, with the ability to create and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), support inclusion, and mentor junior educators. This role plays a critical part in promoting academic, social, and emotional development for students with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and regularly update
Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
for students with special needs.
Adapt general education curriculum to meet individual needs using
differentiated instruction and assistive tools
.
Work closely with general educators to
foster inclusive practices
within the classroom.
Conduct
regular assessments and progress tracking
of students using formal and informal tools.
Provide
targeted intervention
in literacy, numeracy, communication, behavior, and life skills.
Collaborate with parents, therapists, counselors, and school staff to ensure holistic support.
Mentor and guide
junior special educators and shadow teachers
, providing instructional strategies and feedback.
Organize and lead
parent-teacher meetings
, case conferences, and IEP reviews.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with
RCI or institutional standards
.
