About the Role

We're hiring a seasoned technology leader to drive end-to-end solution architecture and program delivery across a modern Microsoft stack. You'll own the technical vision, design scalable cloud architectures on Azure, lead ASP.NET/.NET engineering teams, and run complex, multi-team programs with DevOps/CI/CD best practices. You'll manage an onsite-offshore delivery model, aligning stakeholders, developers, SRE/DevOps, QA, and vendors to deliver secure, reliable, and cost-efficient platforms.

Web API

design (REST/gRPC), microservices, event-driven patterns, and domain-driven design. Establish NFRs (scalability, performance, availability, security, observability) and guide design reviews, threat modeling, and reference architectures. Select standards for APIs, contracts, versioning, and integration (OAuth2/OIDC with Entra ID/Azure AD, RBAC, secrets management).
DevOps, CI/CD & Platform Engineering

Own CI/CD pipelines (

Azure DevOps

or

GitHub Actions

) for build/test/deploy; automate quality gates, IaC, and release strategies (blue/green, canary). Implement

Infrastructure as Code

(Bicep/Terraform), config management, and environment promotion strategies. Drive observability (Application Insights/Log Analytics), SLOs/SLIs, incident management, and post-mortems. Champion security-by-design, compliance, data protection, and cost optimization/FinOps on Azure.
Technical Program Management

Run multi-workstream roadmaps, dependencies, and risk/issue management with clear delivery plans and KPIs. Translate business goals into epics/OKRs; manage budgets, vendor contracts, and executive reporting. Orchestrate cross-functional teams (engineering, QA, SecOps, Data) to land outcomes on time and within scope.
People Leadership & Onsite-Offshore Delivery

Lead and mentor engineering leads, architects, and TPMs across time zones; establish coding standards and review practices. Optimize the onsite-offshore model (hand-offs, overlap hours, SLAs) and continuously improve throughput and quality. Foster a culture of craftsmanship, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Data & analytics exposure (ADF, Synapse, Fabric) or event streaming (Kafka/Event Hubs). Experience with performance tuning, load testing, and capacity planning. Experience modernizing legacy .NET Framework apps to .NET Core/.NET 8.
Working Model (Onsite-Offshore)

Hybrid offshore work with

daily overlap (2-4 hours)

with onshore teams for standups and hand-offs. Occasional travel (up to 10-20%) for workshops, PI planning, and vendor/partner alignment. Flexible hours for critical releases and production events as needed.
What Success Looks Like (First 90-180 Days)

Publish current-state assessment and target reference architecture; align on a 12-month roadmap. Stand up or harden CI/CD pipelines and IaC for at least two core services; deliver a zero-touch deploy path. Implement observability dashboards and SLOs; reduce MTTR and error budget burn.
