Responsibilities
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the
WebEngage product suite
and its positioning within the broader
martech and enterprise software landscape
.
Analyze existing
WebEngage deployments across various industries
(e.g., BFSI, Retail, FMCG, Healthcare, Technology, Hospitality) to identify
industry-specific best practices, use cases, and success stories
.
Proactively stay abreast of
industry trends in digital transformation and marketing automation
, demonstrating
thought leadership
by aligning WebEngage capabilities to evolving customer needs and business challenges.
Maintain a strong grasp of
emerging enterprise software trends and technologies
, identifying opportunities where WebEngage can deliver differentiated value.
Collaborate closely with
Partner Managers and Sales Executives
to strategize, prepare, and execute complex sales engagements--including
discovery sessions, value assessments, POCs, enablement workshops
, and more.
Lead and deliver impactful
solution demonstrations
--both on-site and remote--effectively showcasing WebEngage's value proposition to partners, prospects, and customers.
Respond to the
functional and technical aspects
of RFIs/RFPs in coordination with Technical Sales Engineers and Account Executives.
Act as a
bridge between customers and internal teams
--providing structured feedback to Product Management and aligning with Engineering, Marketing, and Sales to ensure customer needs are addressed with precision.
Represent WebEngage at
industry events, conferences, and partner-led forums
, articulating the platform's vision, capabilities, and impact.
Requirements
2-5 years of experience
in
Technical Pre-Sales, Sales Engineering, or Solutions Consulting
, preferably within the India market.
Proven ability to study and communicate
deployment use cases
across industries such as BFSI, Retail, FMCG, Healthcare, and Technology.
Strong understanding of
enterprise software architecture
and experience integrating martech platforms into existing application ecosystems.
Demonstrated expertise in
consultative selling
--listening to client challenges, framing solutions, and articulating value effectively.
Ability to simplify and communicate
complex technical concepts
to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Solid understanding of
SaaS platforms
and performance-driven enterprise applications.
Excellent
verbal and written communication skills
, with a professional and structured approach to internal and external interactions.
Strong
interpersonal skills
, with a self-starter mindset and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
Prior experience in
solution selling or consultative sales
with tangible outcomes.
Willingness and ability to
travel up to 50%
for client meetings, presentations, and events.
