Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated

Senior Solar Engineer (EPC)

to join our Projects team in

Karnataka

.

In this role, you should lead the engineering and execution of utility-scale solar projects. You should work closely with our design, site, and vendor teams to make sure every project is delivered on time, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

Engineering & Design Coordination

Review and validate engineering documents such as layouts, SLDs, BOQs, and structural drawings. Work with design consultants, EPC contractors, and internal teams to optimize system design. Ensure all designs follow national and international standards (CEA, IS, IEC, etc.). Review PVsyst simulations, energy yield reports, and performance studies.

Project Execution

Supervise daily site activities, foundations, module structures, cabling, and Installation. Ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and as per approved drawings and quality standards. Lead daily and weekly progress meetings and report updates to management. Coordinate with contractors and vendors to ensure material availability and timely completion.

Vendor & Procurement Support

Evaluate vendors and review technical submissions. Approve vendor drawings and documentation. Track material delivery schedules and assist in inspections.

Documentation & Compliance

Prepare daily progress and inspection reports. Liaise with local DISCOM and government authorities for project clearances. Support the preparation of as-built drawings and handover documents.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in

electrical engineering

.

5+ years

of total experience, with

at least 4 years in Solar EPC (utility-scale)

projects. Strong understanding of solar plant design, electrical systems, and field execution. Proficiency in English, Hindi, Tamil & Malayalam. Proficiency in

AutoCAD, PVsyst, and MS Office

tools. Familiarity with

SCADA, WMS, and Remote monitoring systems

. Experience in working with DISCOM. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
