Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Senior Solar Design Engineer

to lead and execute detailed solar PV designs for ground-mounted projects. The role involves electrical and layout design, technical coordination, feasibility analysis, and mentoring junior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Lead

solar PV system design

for Ground Mount projects (MW & kW scale) Prepare

layout drawings, string sizing, SLDs, GA drawings, and BOQs

Perform

PVsyst simulations

, shading analysis, and energy yield assessments Design

AC & DC systems

including inverter sizing, cable sizing, and earthing Ensure compliance with

MNRE, IEC, IS standards, and DISCOM guidelines

Coordinate with EPC, execution, and procurement teams Review vendor drawings and technical documents Provide technical support during

execution & commissioning

Guide and mentor junior design engineers Prepare technical proposals and participate in client discussions

Required Qualifications

B.Tech / B.E. in

Electrical Engineering

(Mandatory) 2-5 years of relevant experience in

solar design & engineering

Strong experience in

Ground Mounted Solar Projects

(Mandatory)

Technical Skills

PVsyst AutoCAD (Mandatory) Helioscope / SketchUp (Preferred) MS Excel (advanced calculations) Knowledge of HT/LT systems & evacuation planning Understanding of solar structures & tracker systems (preferred)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent coordination & communication abilities Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines Leadership and mentoring capability
