1. Requirements Gathering: Elicit requirements from stakeholders, including policyholders, agents, and underwriters.
2. Business Process Analysis: Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement.
3. System Analysis: Analyze insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, and billing.
4. Solution Design: Design solutions to meet business requirements, including process improvements and system enhancements.
5. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure solutions meet requirements.
6. Implementation and Deployment: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and deploy solutions.
7. Post-Implementation Review: Conduct post-implementation reviews to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
1. Insurance Industry Knowledge: Knowledge of insurance products, including life, health, and property/casualty.
2. Business Analysis Skills: Strong business analysis skills, including requirements gathering, process analysis, and solution design.
3. Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Technical Skills: Proficiency in insurance systems, including policy administration, claims, and billing.
6. Certifications: Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
