Job Description

We're hiring a Senior Software QA Engineer to support the development and release of high-reliability medical imaging solutions. This role is central to ensuring our iOS and Android applications meet strict safety, performance, and compliance standards. In this domain, "almost working" isn't acceptable--clinicians and patients rely on flawless performance.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with product, clinical, hardware, and software teams to define use cases and develop comprehensive test plans. Execute manual and automated test cases for mobile applications and integrated imaging devices. Build, enhance, and maintain automated test frameworks to improve product quality, compliance, and user satisfaction. Identify, document, and track defects using Jira, ensuring clear reproduction steps and timely resolution. Review product architecture and design with engineering teams to improve reliability and robustness. Ensure development and testing practices align with SaMD standards (IEC 62304) and FDA quality system requirements.

What You Bring

5+ years of hands-on software QA experience in a regulated medical device or digital health environment. Strong experience developing mobile automation using tools such as Appium, XCTest, or Espresso. Solid understanding of unit, integration, V&V, white-box, black-box, regression, and performance testing. Demonstrated ability to uncover issues, reason about root causes, and communicate findings clearly. Experience testing hardware components or backend web services is a plus. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

Experience with imaging devices or other real-time hardware/software systems. Familiarity with continuous integration pipelines for automated mobile testing.
