Cigna Healthcare is seeking a skilled Front-End Developer (React.js) to design, build, and optimize scalable and secure applications that leverage large healthcare datasets. You will collaborate with cross-functional data engineering and analytics teams to create intuitive, high-performance interfaces that support critical business insights and innovation.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust front-end applications using React.js and modern JavaScript frameworks



Translate business and data requirements into responsive, user-friendly UI components



Integrate complex healthcare datasets with clean, efficient API consumption



Ensure security, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility



Work with product, data, and UX teams to deliver high-quality user experiences



Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize code for scalability and efficiency



Follow best practices for version control, architecture, and CI/CD development workflows

Required qualifications to be successful in this role

Must to Have:



Strong hands-on experience with React.js, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3



Experience in building reusable UI components and managing app-wide state (Redux/Context API)



Knowledge of RESTful APIs, JSON data handling, and asynchronous programming



Experience with Git and modern build tools (Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn)



Ability to work with large datasets while ensuring data privacy and security compliance (healthcare focus a plus)



Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in an agile environment



Good to Have:



Healthcare domain knowledge (HIPAA compliance, PHI handling)



Experience with AWS/Azure or other cloud platforms



Familiarity with visualization libraries (Chart.js, D3.js, Recharts, etc.)



Understanding of automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, RTL)



Knowledge of UI/UX principles and tools (Figma, Adobe XD)



CI/CD pipeline knowledge (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
