Education: BE, BSC, Any graduate

Experience (years): 4-10 years

Industry / Technology background: IT - Communications preferred

Senior Software Engineer

Qualification Criteria/Work Experience

Essential:

• Ability to think laterally about problems and use new technologies to best advantage to deliver innovative solutions
• Work from outline specifications to deliver working prototypes/solutions
• Working knowledge of Microsoft architectural patterns and best practices.
• Ability to articulate and describe developed solutions, include the pros and cons
• Keep abreast of new technologies and their applicability to work requests.

Technologies Hands-on Experience (Years) Priority

• Experience of working with C#, ASP.NET MVC - 3+ yrs
• Experience of creating/interpreting/integrating with APIs/Web services (REST, Azure Function app, etc) -3+ yrs
• MS SQL Server/Cosmos DB/Table Storage - 2+ yrs
• Experience in designing OO applications using design patterns SOLID, DRY. - 2+yrs
• Experience of different Unit testing tools, MSTest/nUnit - 3+yrs
• WPF - 2+ yrs
• Awareness on TDD/BDD, Specflow/Cucumber - 2+ yrs
• Knowledge in .Net Core - 2+ yrs

Desirable: Technologies: Hands-on Experience (Years) Priority

• Building SAAS on MS Azure Native cloud apps -1+ yrs
• Angular -1+ yrs
• Experience in GIT/VSTS for CI -3+ yrs
• Advocate of Code Reviews and following coding standards -3+ yrs

Overall Project/Task description

• Develop high-quality software to meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify, prioritize and execute tasks in the software development life cycle using SCRUM methodologies. Working as part of the self-managing Scrum team.
• Cross-functional, with all the skills as a team necessary for example, coding, automation, DevOps, scripting, etc
• Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code
• Automation of functional test cases as part of CI / CD pipeline
• Review and debug code
• Perform validation and verification testing.
• Ability to independently work as a contributing member of a fast-paced and focused team.
• Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver high-quality solutions and receive constructive feedback.
