Main Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

• Engaging with product owners, architects and other specialists you\'ll design world-class solutions to address our customer needs.
• You\'ll build and maintain efficient, reusable, reliable and secure code based on User Stories
• Working within a multi-functional agile team, you\'ll develop enterprise software, adhering to company standards and established software methodology.
• Demonstrating a consistent focus on quality, you\'ll ensure that your team delivers reliable, robust software through the creation and execution of automated tests.
• You\'ll provide technical support to operations or other development teams
• To help the teams develop and learn, you\'ll review work of peers and more junior developers, providing advice and guidance to benefit the team as a whole.
• Through agile retrospectives and reviews, you\'ll inspect and adapt, finding innovative ways to make your team work more effectively.
• Through participation in refinement and planning sessions, you\'ll work with other team members to analyze development requirements, provide design options and complexity estimates, and

agree how to deliver the requirements.

• Actively participating in Scrum and Nexus meetings, you\'ll give timely status updates on areas for which you are responsible.

Essential Skills/Experience Required:

• Experienced (4-7 years experience) software engineer with excellent knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, RESTful interfaces and the JavaScript language ES5/6/7
• Familiarity with other languages including Java and Python, and the ability to put that familiarity into practice.
• Solid technical background with understanding of programming styles, frameworks, design patterns and unit testing.
• Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around such issues
• Understanding of security implications and secure coding
• Familiarity with front-end build tools, such as Grunt, Gulp.js and Webpack and code management tools such as Git or SVN
• Good understanding of browser rendering behavior and performance
• Superb communication skills, both verbal and written
• Skill for writing clean, readable code and reusable components
• Experienced in or a strong desire to work in a formal agile software development lifecycle.
• Familiar with continuous build and integration
• Experience with Test Driven Development and / or Behaviour Driven Development

Desired Skills/Experience Required:

• TypeScript
• Web-Components and Google Polymer
• Cloud technologies

Education/ Certifications:
A good relevant degree is desirable, but experience and the right approach to work are just as important.

On October 1, 2018, Thomson Reuters sold a 55% majority stake in F&R and entered into a strategic partnership with private equity funds managed by Blackstone, retaining a 45% interest in the business. In India, the execution of this transaction has a delayed closing date as it is subject to a judicial process for closure and customary closing conditions. When the transaction closes in India, this role will be included in the new F&R entity.\xe2\x80\x9d
