Job Description

Role: Senior Software Engineer Location: Hyderabad Experience: 5+ years Skills: Java, SQL /No SQL, AWS/GCP/Azure, HTTP/REST/SOAP Roles and Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications and services. Work with a diverse technology stack, including but not limited to Java, NoSQL databases, cloud services (e.g., AWS), and other relevant technologies to build sophisticated financial products. Collaborate with the team to design efficient and scalable software architecture and ensure that the engineering best practices are followed. Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and enforce coding standards to maintain high-quality code. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies, bringing innovative ideas and approaches to the team. Work closely with product managers and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver business-critical features on time. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including other engineering teams and user experience teams, to ensure smooth product development and delivery. Participate in the continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance overall team productivity and software quality. Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment. REQUIREMENTS: 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on backend systems. Proficiency in Data Structures and Algorithms. Experience in handling a module end-2-end is a plus. Good understanding of software development best practices, including Agile methodologies, design patterns, and code reviews. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Experience in mentoring a team of software engineers Experience with database technologies, such as SQL, NoSQL, and caching mechanisms. Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies. Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment, embracing change and uncertainty. Strong understanding of web technologies, such as HTTP, REST, and SOAP. Familiarity with cloud-based technologies, such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
