We are seeking a highly skilled

Senior Software Engineer

who will act as the key development expert for the Product Delivery Team. The ideal candidate has strong experience in designing complex SaaS solutions, stays updated with modern engineering trends, and demonstrates high ownership in both development and production environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline. 5 -7 years of professional software development experience in SaaS or enterprise applications. Strong proficiency in backend development using

Kotlin (Spring Boot)

and

Java

. Frontend experience with

Angular

is a strong advantage. Hands-on experience with databases such as

Postgres, SQL Server, MySQL

, and exposure to non-relational DBs. Experience with

Kafka

or similar messaging/streaming systems. Working knowledge of CI/CD tools such as

GitLab

and

Jenkins

. Solid understanding of system architecture, integrations, and interface dependencies. Demonstrated experience in debugging, performance optimization, and production issue resolution. Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with a strong ownership mindset.

Key Responsibilities

------------------------

Design, develop, and test new platform features, components, and system enhancements. Translate business and product requirements into sequenced, implementation-ready user stories. Participate in sprint refinement, planning, estimation, and kick-off ceremonies. Provide technical leadership, guidance, and coaching to junior engineers. Set, influence, and guide the technical direction within and across engineering teams. Conduct thorough code reviews and enforce coding standards, best practices, and SOPs. Research, evaluate, and integrate new tools, frameworks, and technologies where required. Identify, document, and plan resolutions for technical debt and system bottlenecks. Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, including production incidents and interface failures. Collaborate closely with Product Management and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with the product roadmap. * Maintain a strong ownership mindset by actively addressing production issues and ensuring timely resolutions.
