About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced UKG Functional Consultant to join our HR Technology Delivery team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation, configuration, and ongoing support of the UKG product suite (Workforce Management) - including Leave, Attendance, Roster, Overtime module supporting our outstation employees and operational units.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation & Configuration

• Lead end-to-end implementation and rollout of UKG modules - Attendance, Roster, Overtime, Leave.
• Configure UKG applications in line with business policies, shift structures, and overtime rules.
• Manage system testing (UAT), data migration, and go-live support.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to define configuration logic and validation.
• Collaborate with UKG vendor partners for functional design and system optimization.

Support & Maintenance

• Provide L2/L3 functional support post-go-live, handling incidents and service requests.
• Monitor daily batch jobs, integration status, and data accuracy.
• Analyze recurring issues and propose system/process improvements.
• Support system enhancements, version upgrades, and regression testing.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between HR, IT, and UKG vendor teams.
• Conduct user training, prepare SOPs, and maintain configuration documentation.
• Present project and support status reports to management and business teams.

Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience
Functional Expertise

• Minimum 4-7 years of experience in UKG (Kronos Workforce Central / Dimensions / Pro).
• Strong hands-on experience in Attendance, Rostering, Overtime, Leave Management.
• Good understanding of HR and payroll integration points (SAP / SuccessFactors / Workday preferred).
• Experience in time policies, shift differentials, accruals, and compliance rules.

Technical Knowledge

• Working knowledge of SQL, data validation, and integration troubleshooting.
• Familiar with interfaces, APIs, and reporting tools within UKG.
• Understanding of cloud-based UKG environment (Dimensions / Pro) is a plus.

Behavioral Competencies

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and ownership mindset.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid and cross-functional environment.
• Agile methodology exposure preferred.

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in IT, Computer Science, or HR Systems.
• UKG / Kronos Certification (Timekeeping, Workforce Dimensions, or WFC) preferred.
