We are looking for a Quality Engineer / Sr. Quality Engineer with expertise in the

Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance

domain to drive functional testing with a test automation mindset. The ideal candidate will have strong domain knowledge, testing expertise, and experience in agile QA practices.

Mandatory Skills,

Primary Skill Set:

o

Domain Expertise:

Duck Creek Policy Admin System (P&C / Commercial / Specialty Insurance)

o Testing Expertise:

Manual & Functional Testing, Regression Testing, System Testing, Smoke Testing, Exploratory Testing, End-to-End (E2E) Testing

o Test Automation & Agile Practices:

o Strong understanding of agile methodologies and shift-left testing


o Experience with Jira workflows and test management plugins


o Proficiency in defect tracking, resolution, and verification before UAT/production

Secondary Skill Set:

o

Automation Expertise:

Selenium-based test automation, API test automation

o BDD Implementation:

Experience in Gherkin-based test case writing (Cucumber, SpecFlow, etc.)

o CI/CD Integration:

Automating smoke and regression tests within DevOps pipelines

Key Responsibilities

1. Functional Testing & Quality Engineering:

Analyze business requirements and use cases to define test strategies and execution plans Validate system configurations and ensure alignment with product requirements Identify and focus testing efforts on high-risk areas to prevent defect leakage * Ensure early defect detection and shift-left testing implementation
