Job Description

We are looking for an expert C#/.NET Developer with in-depth knowledge of Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SQL, and Microsoft Azure to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of developing robust, scalable, and secure applications and services, leveraging both on-premises and cloud-based solutions.
You will play a key role in designing and implementing software solutions that meet business requirements while ensuring high performance and reliability!
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development:Design, develop, and maintain applications and backend services using C#, .NET Framework Develop and integrate WCF services, ensuring secure and efficient communication between applications. Enhance and optimize existing applications to improve functionality and performance.

Cloud Integration with Azure:Implement and deploy applications and services on Microsoft Azure platforms, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and Azure Service Bus. Develop cloud-based solutions that integrate seamlessly with on-premises systems. Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.

Database Development:Design and optimize relational databases using SQL Server. Write efficient stored procedures, triggers, and queries to support application functionality. Lead and maintain database performance and security, ensuring data integrity.

Service-Oriented Architecture:Build and maintain WCF services to support a service-oriented architecture. Implement secure communication using protocols like SOAP and REST. Modernize legacy WCF services and migrate them to Azure-based solutions where applicable.

Security and Performance Optimization:Apply Azure security standard methodologies, including role-based access control (RBAC), Azure AD integration, and data encryption. Optimize application and database performance for scalability and reliability.

Teamwork and Agile Development:Collaborate with multi-functional teams (product managers, QA engineers, UI developers) to deliver high-quality solutions. Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and stand-ups. Conduct code reviews and ensure alignment to coding standards and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:Strong programming skills in C# and .NET Framework Deep understanding and demonstrated experience with WCF and service-oriented architecture. Proficiency in SQL Server, including database design, stored procedures, and performance optimization. Hands-on experience with Azure services such as App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure SQL Database, and Azure DevOps.

Cloud and Integration Skills:Experience with cloud-based architecture and migrating legacy systems to Azure. Familiarity with API development, including RESTful and SOAP services.

DevOps and Automation:Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing using Azure DevOps or similar tools. Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes (AKS) is a plus.

Security and Performance:Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, including Azure AD, OAuth, and OpenID Connect. Understanding of Azure monitoring tools like Application Insights and Log Analytics.

Soft Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
