In this role, you will:
API Engineer with excellent design, hands on development & technical skills along with good interpersonal skills, capable of working in highly critical transformation projects.
Responsibilities
Develop reusable components, define accessibility & governance and rollout the components across the digital channel group
Develop applications with architecture principles, design patterns, coding standards, Web and application security.
Acclimate to new technologies and situations with the vision of providing best customer experience
Meet expected deliverables and quality standards across multiple releases
Collaborate with team to design, develop, test and refine deliverables that meet the objectives
Adopt to Behavior Driven Development and adhere to Test Driven Development
Additional Responsibilities for Senior Software Engineer
Provide design and architectural solutions to the business problems
Organize, lead and motivate development team members to meet expected deliverables and quality standards across multiple releases
Directs and assists senior developers and perform code reviews and implement improvement plans
Conduct frequent brainstorming sessions and motivate team and drive innovations
Mandatory Skills
Back end Development experience with expertise in Java, Spring Boot, JAXRS, SQL, Messaging (Kafka/IBM MQ/Active MQ), Microservices, DDD, PCF
Hands on experience developing APIs and experience working with OpenAPI/Swagger - generating and/update schemas (JSON+YAML / XSD) - API Contracts and API documentation
Good understanding of security (Sonar/FindBugs/CheckMarx) - Good understanding of JWT, SAML, SSO
Experience in Digital Banking/ecommerce or any complex customer facing applications that interacts with downstream systems thru SOAP, REST, Messaging
Excellent debugging skills - knowledge of Splunk, AppDynamics
Hands on experience with Unit Testing, Integration Testing - TDD, Behavior Driven Development (BDD) with Cucumber scripting - Wiremock or any Simulating tool -Understand Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) - knowledge of Gradle and Maven
Hands on experience developing Reusable Common Components
Hands on experience in packaging and deploying artifacts to Jenkins pipelines
Strong in OOAD, Design Patterns, asynchronous programming, design and implementation of Services, applications.
Product & Design Knowledge - Experience with Product Development, Large Enterprise Scale Integrations (preferably in design/development of customer facing large enterprise applications)
Excellent business communication skills
Senior Software Engineer - Experience with Enterprise Mobility Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling and Security Best Practices
Desired Skills
Knowledge in any one design and architecture tool to create and/or modify existing designs
Knowledge in CI/CD, Devops
Knowledge in Validating API testing tools (Postman) and performance monitoring tools (JMeter), Understanding PTE reports
Software Senior Engineer - Experience of handling larger teams working across one or more geographic territories or regions
